Meat Loaf—Sweet Pecan Rub gives this weeknight staple new life. Add 1 Tablespoon Sweet Pecan for each pound of ground beef in your meat loaf recipe. Be sure to sprinkle a little on top. The sugar in the Sweet Pecan will glaze the meatloaf as it bakes.
Baked Beans–Try this quick version of baked beans. Rinse a can of plain, low sodium pinto beans. Heat over medium heat with a Tablespoon of Sweet Pecan Rub, two Tablespoons ketchup and a few drops of Worcestershire. Adjust the seasonings to taste.
Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken–Place boneless, skinless breasts or thighs (or a combo) in a slow cooker. Use 1 Tablespoon Sweet Pecan Rub for each pound of chicken. Add 1/4 cup chicken stock for each pound of chicken. Slow cook for 6-8 hours. Pull apart with forks and serve on buns or in tortillas for wraps.
