Ingredients

2 Tbl Key Lime Avocado Oil
3 cups stock
1/2 tsp Roasted Granulated Garlic
1 tsp Lemon Lime Salmon Rub
1.5 cups Basmati Rice
1 tsp salt
Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro, for serving
Lime slices, for serving

We love this quick trick for making rice, or any grain, something special. The addition of Lemon Lime Salmon Rub and our Key Lime Avocado Oil lends excellent flavor and brightness to a pot of rice. Excellent nestled up to a curry, but it’s good enough to stand on its own!

Instructions

1.Heat a pot with a tight-fitting lid over medium-high heat. Rinse the basmati rice in a colander under running water until it runs clear. Spread out on a sheet pan or cutting board to dry for about 10 mins.
2.Heat a pot with a tight-fitting lid over medium - high heat. Add the Key Lime Avocado Oil, chopped onion, Granulated Garlic and Lemon Lime Salmon Rub. Saute for 1 minute. Add in the uncooked Basmati Rice. Stir to coat the rice with the seasonings and oil. Cook for 2 minutes.
3.Add 3 cups stock and bring to a full rolling boil. Reduce the heat and place the lid on the pot and cook for 17 minutes.
4.Remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork. Serve with chopped fresh parsley or cilantro and lime slices.
