Ingredients

1 cup of rolled oats
4 cups of water
2 dried black figs
Pinch Himalayan Salt
1 Tbl Traditional Vanilla Extract

Making milk alternatives is be easy, and oat milk might be the most efficient and cost efficient alternative out there. Simple and so delicious and creamy! Figs sweeten the milk along with Traditional Vanilla Extract. Use this oat milk in your coffee or tea – Biscotti Herbal Tea would be a great place to start!

Instructions

1.In a blender, add the oats, dates, water and salt. Blend on high for 30 seconds.
2.Use a cheesecloth or tightly knit material to strain liquid from the pulp - strain into a pitcher. Whisk in the extract. Store in the fridge up to about 5 days. It's normal for the mixture to separate when stored. Just shake it well before serving and enjoy!
