1 oz Masala Chai Tea
1 cup milk
1 oz simple syrup
1-2 oz rye whiskey

The peppery bite from rye whiskey is the perfect compliment to spicy Chai tea. Anne steeped our Masala Chai Black Tea in milk then added a splash of simple syrup and rye. Wrap your hands around a mug of this Rye & Chai and get ready for a warm hug.


1.Break up 2 heaping Tablespoons of the Masala Chai Tea with a mortar and pestle. You can also place it in a ziptop bag and use a rolling pin to crush the tea.
2.Place the tea and milk in a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Bring to just a simmer then lower the heat to low. Allow to steep for 15 minutes.
3.Strain off the tea and pour the infused milk into a mug. Add in the simple syrup and rye. Sip and enjoy this warm hug!
