Masala Chai: Steep 1 heaping teaspoon in very hot water-almost at the boil-for 1-3 minutes. Although everyone’s preference is different, we do find ourselves steeping this tea more toward the three minute mark. Masala Chai is an amazing hot sip. We love it with milk and sweetener. Coconut Chai: Steep 1 heaping Tablespoon in very hot water. Herbals don’t have any time or temp rules when it comes to steeping. You can use full rolling boiling water with no concerns. Steep for at least 5 mins. Herbal teas also cold steep really well. In a 4 quart pitcher, pour cold water over 1/3 cup Coconut Chai tea. Steep overnight in the fridge. Enjoy this smooth cold brew with a splash of almond milk. Sublime.
