minutesThis delicious peppercorn ranch dressing is the traditional blend of creamy buttermilk and herbs plus the pop of Smoked Black Peppercorns. Be sure to toast the whole peppercorns before grinding for big, powerful flavor. Perfect for salads. Excellent as a dip. A must for a big platter of hot wings.
Ingredients
2 Tbsp Smoked Black Peppercorns
2/3 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp Granulated Garlic
1/2 tsp Granulated Onion
1/2 tsp Himalayan Salt
3 Tbsp combination chopped fresh herbs like chives, dill and parsley
Instructions
- In a dry skillet, toast the Smoked Black Peppercorns until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Cool and grind with a mortar & pestle.
- Whisk together buttermilk, sour cream, mayonnaise, dried dill, granulated garlic, granulated onion, salt, ground peppercorns, fresh chives and fresh parsley. Cover and refrigerate for about 15 mins. Taste and adjust with salt and more ground pepper.
