Halva is a Middle Eastern fudge-like confectionery made from a nut or seed butter – usually Tahini. We took sweet, nutty halva and used it to create a delicious latte using our Cardamom Cinnamon Black Tea– the perfect compliment to halva’s roasty, toasty notes. This beautiful latte can easily sub in for dessert to end a meal.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • First, make the Cinnamon Toast Tea concentrate. Steep 1 Tbl Cardamom Cinnamon Black Tea in 1 cup near-boiling water. Steep for 5 mins. This steep time takes the tea a little farther than we typically recommend, but the sweetness from the halva will help tamp any bitterness.
  • After the tea is steeped, strain off the leaves and set the hot tea aside.
  • In a blender, combine the hot oat milk and halva. Blend to create a smooth, creamy and foamy mixture.
  • Divide the Cinnamon Toast Tea between two mugs. Top with the halva oat milk mixture. Sprinkle a little ground cardamom for garnish.
