For the Berry Blast Simple Syrup:
Berry Blast Tea
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
For the Cocktail
Black Currant Tea
2 oz Vodka
Lemon wedges
Raspberry Sugar for rimming glass

Two berry, berry delicious teas in one cocktail. Black Currant tea forms this base of this cocktail and Berry Blast Tea, with its hibiscus hue, brings home the sweetness. We love the berry deliciousness of both teas, and we especially love when they come together in a beautiful libation that’s sure to put a smile on your face.

This sip just sings of the holiday spirit. Can’t you see it at your tree-trimming party?


1.First make the Berry Blast Simple Syrup: Boil 1 cup water and add in 2 Tbl Berry Blast Tea. Turn off heat. Cover. Allow to steep for 30 mins. Strain off the leaves. Add in 1 cup sugar. Heat and stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is syrupy.
2.For the cocktail, first make the Black Currant Tea. Pour 2 cups boiling water over 1 Tbl Currant Tea. Steep for 5 minutes. Strain off the leaves. Chill the tea.
3.To shake two cocktails, add 2 oz vodka, 4 oz Black Currant Tea and 2 oz Berry Blast Simple Syrup in an ice-filled shaker. Shake well.
4.Use lemon wedges to coat rim of bubbly glasses and roll in Raspberry Sugar. Pour cocktail into sugar-rimmed bubbly glasses a little over halfway. Top with Prosecco. Serve with a wedge of lemon .
