minutesGrab a glass and say cheers to this broccoli recipe that’s less about toasting and more about roasted goodness. You’re going to need that glass for smashing these cruciferous snacks to create lots of surface area for maximum crispiness. Blanched broccoli gets smashed and seasoned with Roasted Veggie Seasoning Blend then roasted at high heat with a nice glug of Basil Extra Virgin Olive Oil and salty parmesan cheese. This is no standard side of broccoli – this one is something to celebrate!

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Cut the florets from the broccoli and steam until tender. We used the microwave and placed the florets in a large bowl with 1/4 cup water.
- Move the steamed broccoli to a parchment-lined sheet pan and use the bottom of a glass to smash each floret. Drizzle with Basil Extra Virgin Olive Oil and season with salt and Roasted Veggie Seasoning.
- Roast for 10 minutes or until the broccoli is golden brown and crisped on the edges. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and return to the oven to melt the cheese – about 2 minutes.
