minutes  A Baton Rouge original, Sensation Salad is made with a tangy lemon-garlic dressing and a generous amount of salty cheese, typically Romano or Parmesan. We make the salad with crunchy iceberg or romaine lettuce, and it’s best ice cold.
Ingredients
2/3 cup Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Zest & juice of 1 lemon
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Sariette Blend
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/2 cup Grated Romano Cheese
8 cups Sliced romaine lettuce
Lemon slices, for serving
Extra Romano, for serving
Instructions
- Make the dressing: Process everything except oil in blender for 30 seconds, with blender running add oil until emulsified.
- Place the lettuce in a large bowl. Add in the dressing and toss to thoroughly coat. Garnish each serving with romano and lettuce slices.Â
