This tea is a little reminiscent of spiced tea packets made with Tang (remember Tang?) Store owner Anne loves a good retro recipe, and she decided this one needs a comeback! In this modern version, we steep Currant Tea and combine it with Clove Sugar sweetened orange juice. This stovetop elixir is just the thing for keeping the chill at bay. Warm up with this one!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Steep 1 Tbl Currant Tea in 2 cups very hot water – near the boil – for 4 minutes. Strain off the tea leaves and set aside.
  • In a small saucepan, simmer 1 cup orange juice with 1/4 cup Cinnamon Sugar until the sugar dissolves.
  • Combine the 2 cups Currant Tea with the 1 cup orange juice + Cinnamon Sugar mixture. Ladle into mugs and sip!
