Sweet potatoes or yams? Fun Fact: most tubers labeled “yams” in the U.S. are sweet potatoes. Lots of history and lore around that, but we’re here for the flavor! As a bonus, sweet potatoes are high in beta carotene, vitamin C and fiber. We love them in spicy hot chilis, and they love smoky spice blends. Oh, and did someone say pie? Yes to all. Let’s get to the roundup! Grab some sweet potatoes/yams and get cooking! Listen to Anne talk Sweet Potatoes & Yams on Smidgen Podcast!
