Just a few ingredients, and you’ll be on your way to a delicious sauce that doubles as a filling or a jam. We love this one on ice cream. Try with our No Churn Vanilla Ice Cream. We’ve used this berry goodness as a filling for homemade pop tarts and a topping for biscuits. Grab some berries and let’s jam!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a medium pot set over high heat, combine the strawberries and sugar. Mash until it’s nearly a pulp. Mash more for a smoother sauce. Mash less for a chunkier sauce.
  • In a bowl, combine the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Add the slurry to the strawberries and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Reduce the heat and simmer for 6 mins. Turn off the heat and stir in the extracts.
  • Allow to cool and store in a container in the fridge for up to 10 days.
