This mocktail’s liquored-up cousin is a very simple layering of Campari and orange juice. Sounds amazing. And we found an amazing way to mimic this flavor profile in a alcohol-free version featuring our Rooibos Renewal Tea. The fun part is the frothed up orange juice to top the citrus-infused tea. Delight your brunch besties with this lovely mocktail.
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice, chilled
1 oz looseleaf Rooibos Renewal Herbal Tea
4 oz simple syrup | |
Ice | |
Orange half moon slices, for garnish |
1. | First, make the Rooibos Renewal Herbal Tea. Steep 2 heaping Tbl Rooibos Renewal loose tea in a pitcher and cover with 3 cups boiling water. Steep for 10 mins then cool and refrigerate. |
2. | Fill 4 collins glasses with ice to pre chill. You'll pour off this ice when making the mocktail. |
3. | When you're ready to make the mocktail, strain the tea from the leaves. Fill a shaker with ice and add 16 oz Rooibos Renewal tea and 4 oz simple syrup. Shake vigorously and strain the tea into 4 pre-chilled collins glasses - be sure to empty the collins glasses of the ice that was added to pre-chill the glasses. |
4. | Use a blender or handheld frother to froth the chilled orange juice. Froth until light and fluffy. |
5. | Top the tea in the collins glasses with the frothed orange juice. Top with an orange wedge. |
