minutesOvernight oats take only minutes to prepare, and they are a sight for sleepy (and hungry) eyes in the morning. We loaded up jars with old-fashioned oats, brown sugar, a pinch of Himalayan Salt and Pure Maple Extract – the star of the show! Top with pecans, apples or pears and a drizzle of maple syrup. Your day just got better!
Ingredients
1/3 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup milk (we used soy)
Pinch Himalayan Salt
1/2 tsp Pure Maple Extract
1 heaping Tbl brown sugar
Apples, pears, pecans, for serving
Maple syrup drizzle, for serving
Instructions
- Combine the oats, milk, salt, extract and brown sugar in a jar. Stir. Store in fridge overnight.
- In the morning, heat the oatmeal in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir and heat in 30 second increments until thick and creamy.
- Top with chopped apples or pears and pecans. Drizzle with maple syrup.
