This fun cocktail is cool and crisp, perfect for a hot day. Georgia on My Mind tea is a peach-infused black tea with lots of layers of flavor. Stone fruit and vanilla co-mingle with the intricacies of the Ceylon Tea. It’s a big seller in the shop. One sip, and you’ll understand why!
1 Tbl Georgia on My Mind | |
1 1/4 cups water | |
1 cup sugar | |
1 cup water | |
1 Tbl Pure Vanilla Puree | |
2 oz Vodka | |

1. | First make the simple syrup: heat 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook until the mixture is clear. Cook for an additional 3 minutes. Turn off the heat and stir in the Pure Vanilla Puree. Set aside to cool. |
2. | Next, make the Georgia on My Mind Tea: Place the tea leaves in a large glass measuring cup or bowl. Pour 1 1/4 cups near-boiling water over the leaves. Steep for 4 minutes. Strain off the leaves and set the tea aside to cool. |
3. | To make one cocktail, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add in 5 oz Georgia on My Mind Tea, 1 oz vodka and 2 oz Vanilla Simple Syrup. Shake. Pour into a glass and garnish with peach slices. Repeat the process to make the second cocktail. |
4. | Store unused simple syrup in the fridge and use within 10 days. |
