There’s nothing better than warming up with a classic Hot Toddy. We take the classic and give it an herbal tea update with our Pumpkin Spice Herbal Tea. The warm cinnamon, cardamom and allspice are a welcome addition to the Rye Whiskey and spritz of citrus. This one will cure what ails you!
1/2 - 1 oz Rye Whiskey | |
Juice of 1/2 lemon | |
1/2 oz Maple Syrup | |
1 tsp canned pumpkin puree | |
1/4 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice | |
1 cup steeped Pumkin Spice Herbal Tea |
1. | Steep the Pumpkin Spice Herbal Tea by adding 1 Tbl tea to 1 cup very hot water. Herbal teas don't have time or temperature limitations, so you don't have to be concerned with the temp. You can bring the water to a full rolling boil. Steep the tea for 4-7 minutes. Strain off the leaves and set aside. |
2. | In the bottom of a mug, whisk together the Rye, lemon juice, maple syrup, pumpkin puree and Pumpkin Pie Spice. Whisk until well combined. Add in the hot Pumpkin Spice Herbal Tea. Sip & Enjoy! |
