Mint meets green tea and blackberries in this completely refreshing mocktail. We love The Big Fig for its natural sweetness and satisfying flavor. We drink this summertime sipper all year long!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • To make the Simple Syrup: Heat 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup lime juice in a saucepan until the sugar is melted and the mixture is clear. Stir in 1 heaping Tbl Spearmint Tea and allow to steep for 15 minutes. Strain through cheesecloth.
  • To make The Big Fig Green Tea: Pour 2 cups hot water (just under the simmer) over 4 Tbl The Big Fig Green Tea leaves in a heat-safe, pitcher. Steep for five minutes. Remove the infuser and discard the tea leaves. Chill the tea.
  • To make the Mocktail: In the pitcher with the green tea, add in the simple syrup and 2 cups water.
  • Serve over ice, leaving room to top each with a little sparkling water. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a wedge of lime.

  1. I love that this is a year-round sipper instead of just being reserved for summer! The combination of spearmint with The Big Fig green tea sounds so refreshing, and the homemade lime-mint simple syrup is such a nice touch. I’ve been looking for new non-alcoholic drink recipes to mix up my afternoons, and this one fits perfectly. It only takes 10 minutes of active prep, which is totally doable even on busy workdays. Can’t wait to give it a try this weekend!
