A bottle of Rose’ meets ripe pears and then run into our Vanilla Balsamic Vinegar. What could go wrong? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. This recipe is 100% right.
4 Bosc Pears, halved with stems in place | |
1 bottle Rose Wine | |
1 cup Sugar | |
1/4 tsp Vanilla Bean Salt | |
1 tsp Tahitian Cookie Vanilla Extract | |
Vanilla Balsamic Vinegar |
1. | Cut pears in half and scoop out the seedy center. Cut away the fibrous section that attached to the stem. |
2. | In a small saucepan, bring wine, sugar, salt and extract to a boil. Add pears and let simmer until poached and softened- about 25 minutes. |
3. | Remove and arrange on a platter or individual dessert plates. Drizzle with Vanilla Balsamic vinegar to finish. Serve. |
