A bottle of Rose’ meets ripe pears and then run into our Vanilla Balsamic Vinegar. What could go wrong? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. This recipe is 100% right.

Instructions

  • Cut pears in half and scoop out the seedy center. Cut away the fibrous section that attached to the stem.
  • In a small saucepan, bring wine, sugar, salt and extract to a boil. Add pears and let simmer until poached and softened- about 25 minutes.
  • Remove and arrange on a platter or individual dessert plates. Drizzle with Vanilla Balsamic vinegar to finish. Serve.
