Delicious smashed burgers! Forget what they tell you about not touching your burgers while they cook. These love being smashed to get their perfect crispy edges. Our BBQ Shrimp Seasoning is perfect in burgers and our Caramelized Onion Avocado Oil brings all the best flavor for this high heat searing. Add cheese and all of the toppings for the best bite.

Instructions

1.Combine the ground beef and Grilled Shrimp Blend. Divide into 4 balls. Alternately, you can divide into 8 patties and create double patty burgers. If you opt for 8 patties, your cook time will be cut in half.
2.Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over high heat. Drizzle in the Caramelized Onion Avocado Oil and place the ground beef balls in the skillet. Use a piece of parchment and a solid spatula to smash! Place the parchment on the meat ball. Place the spatula on the parchment. Use the handle of a wooden spoon or a potato masher to press on the spatula and smash the burgers very thin. Remove the parchment and season the patties with salt & pepper.
3.Allow to cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Flip and top with cheddar cheese. The cheese will melt and the edges will get crispy. Continue cooking for another 4 minutes.
4.While the burgers are cooking, toast the buns with butter.
5.To make the sauce, combine 2 Tbl each mayo, mustard and ketchup. Stir in a tsp of Woods Foods Jalapeno Relish.
6.To serve, dress the toasted buns with the sauce, lettuce and pickles.
