Not your Grandma’s deviled eggs…this picnic staple gets an upgrade from Hot Smoked Paprika. This uber-popular spice is a favorite among grillers. The smoky-spicy heat is perfect for any type of grilled meats. You can also add it to chilis, soups and stews. Use it to update old standards…like these deviled eggs.
6 hard-boiled eggs | |
1/4 cup mayonnaise | |
1 Tbl sweet relish | |
1 tsp dijon mustard | |
Salt to taste | |
Hot Smoked Paprika | |
Radishes and sliced scallions for garnish |
1. | Cut each egg lengthwise and scoop the yolks from the center. |
2. | In a bowl, combine the yolks, mayonnaise, relish, mustard, salt and 1/2 tsp Hot Smoked Paprika. Taste and adjust the salt and mayonnaise. |
3. | Scoop or pipe the filling back into the egg white halves. Garish with a sprinkling of Hot Smoked Paprika. |
