minutesKick up your snack game with this spicy Chex mix! We combine our umami-rich Sariette Blend with Dark la Mesa Chili Powder and a hit of Cayenne for a smoky, spicy and seriously snackable mix. This buttery mixture bakes up into a craveable snack that will have your guests coming back for seconds and thirds! Crispy, buttery, spicy and salty – make a batch!
Ingredients
3 cups Corn Chex
3 cups Rice Chex
3 cups Wheat Chex
2 cups mixed nuts
2 cups mini pretzels
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1.5 sticks unsalted butter
2 tsp Sariette Blend
2 tsp Cayenne
1 Tbsp Dark la Mesa Chili Powder
Instructions
- Heat oven to 250°F. In a large bowl, combine the cereal, nuts and pretzels. Set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Whisk in the Worcestershire sauce, Sariette Blend, Cayenne and Dark la Mesa Chili Powder.
- Pour the butter sauce over the cereal mixture and toss together until everything is evenly coated. Spread onto a large rimmed baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to make sure everything crisps up evenly. Let cool before eating or storing. Stores well in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
