Reishi mushrooms are adaptogens – shown to reduce negative effects of stress on the body. Our Vanilla Reishi Daily Blend is a great way to incorporate adaptogens. Packed with fueling oats, protein-rich nut butter and sweet, ripe banana, this smoothie is beneficial and delicious!
Ingredients
1/4 cup quick or unflavored instant oats
1 ripe banana
1 Tbl Almond Butter
3/4 cup milk (we used almond)
Pinch Himalayan Salt
2 cups ice
Chopped almonds, pistachios and chia seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Add the oats to the blender and blend until pulverized into a powder. Add all remaining ingredients and blitz until creamy and thick. Garnish with nuts and chia seeds for extra crunch and protein.
