It comes around every year in late summer. Charc Week. Oh wait, is it Shark Week? We misunderstood – we thought it a week celebrating Charcuterie. Here’s the thing: we like our version better. Charc Week is less scary sea creatures and more deliciousness. We suggest you celebrate all things charcuterie with us – here are 7 inspo recipes to make Charc Week the best week ever.

1 – Fig & Pig Flatbread

Nestle this quick app alongside your charcuterie board for a fun pickup that’s all about salty meets smoky and sweet. This happy hour app is pure happiness. A drizzle of our sweet Fig Balsamic ups the happy factor. The perfect nibble with a glass of wine. A great wing man for your charcuterie board. Or maybe this is supper all to yourself.

2- Spiced, Roasted Olives

This recipe is from our friend Chef Celeste Baer – Celeste teaches cooking classes in our Teaching Kitchen. Her fun and delicious Host with the Most classes sell out quickly. This is one of the recipes she teaches for adding to your charcuterie display. We love the addition of the citrus in this recipe – we upped the orange essence with our Blood Orange Avocado Oil. Chiles, rosemary and tangy Red Wine Vinegar round out the flavors. Yummy, easy and really pretty!

3- Pickled Grapes

Pickled grapes? Yes. Meet your Charcuterie Board’s new best friend. We make these often in the Teaching Kitchen, and there are lots of skeptics…until they taste them! Champagne Pear Balsamic VinegarCinnamon and Mustard Seeds create a brine for juicy grapes and raisins. The dried fruit plumps in the tart liquid, and it creates such an amazing array of flavors and textures. Lovely with all types of cheeses. Fantastic on a salad with feta. So much fun!

4- Rosemary Roasted Pecans

Rosemary times four. That’s how we layer this fragrant herb in these heady pecansRosemary Extra Virgin Olive OilDried Rosemary Leaf and Rosemary Sea Salt work in unison as the pecans roast. We slow roast them at a low temp to make sure the interiors and exteriors are equally toasty. The finishing touch is a smattering of fresh rosemary. Perfect for snacking. A must for salads. Add them to your next charcuterie board. So very delicious!

5- Bacon Wrapped Dates

Salty smoky bacon enrobes sweet medjool dates studded with an herbed goat cheese filling. Divine. Oh, and definitely simple! This recipe is a tapas classic, happy hour mainstay and charcuterie board tag along. We bring our Herbes de Provence to the party and add it to the goat cheese. Make a batch and watch them disappear.

6- Basil Blood Orange Goat Cheese Torte

Store staffer Cameron came up with this delicious and beautiful torte that uses one of our favorite flavor combos: basil + orange. Layers of tangy goat cheese mingle with our Basil Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Blood Orange Avocado Oil with a finish of fresh basil and flake salt. A beautiful addition to a charcuterie board or serve as an appetizer all on its own.

7- The Gershwin

Vintage cocktails are always a fun exploration. We’ve reinvented the GimletThe French Horse and even a Moscow Mule. We loved the idea of this ginger-rich gin sip and noted that the classic cocktail called for ginger syrup. Enter our Gingerbread Cookie Tea. We used the steeped tea to create a big batch of cocktail syrup. Oh, and the Rose Water? Don’t skip it. It’s just a few drops, but it’s so distinctive and beautiful.
