Cripsy and delicious. Spicy and a little sweet. We love the authentic Jamaican flavors of our Jerk Chicken Blend. We use our Microplane mandoline to create nice long planks, giving these plantain chips perfect scoop-ability! They work perfectly with our Habanero Lime Black Bean Salsa.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Peel 2 plantains and cut in half. Use a mandoline to cut 1/8″ thick planks.
  • Place the plantains on the parchment paper. Drizzle with Key Lime Avocado Oil. Lightly salt, then generously season with Jerk Chicken Blend.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, flip chips and bake for another 5 mins or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for at least 10 minutes. They will get crispier as they sit, so take care to not over bake.
