cast iron pork chops
cast iron pork chops

Ingredients

2 bone-in pork chops
Roasted Garlic Avocado Oil
Fixin' Chicken Blend
Bourbon Balsamic Vinegar
Fresh Rosemary & Thyme

These quick stovetop chops are equal parts flavor and technique. A quick score of the fat on the edges of the chops keeps them in contact with the pan, and a one-two punch of flavor from our Fixin Chicken Blend and Bourbon Balsamic Vinegar seals the deal. Delicious!

Instructions

1.Score the fat on the edges of the chops. This will help keep the chops from curling, especially if your chops are thin.
2.Generously season both sides of the chops with Fixin Chicken Blend.
3.Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Drizzle in Roasted Garlic Avocado Oil. Sear the chops on one side until golden brown. Turn and reduce heat. Add in fresh herbs. Continue cooking until an internal temp of 145°F - about 8 minutes.
4.Move chops to a plate, and if any excess oil accumulated, drain off. Return the pan to medium heat. Add 1/3 cup Bourbon Balsamic Vinegar and cook until reduced by half. Glaze chops and serve.
