minutesWe spiced up this Southern party buffet classic with our Brunch Blend. Add in white cheddar and fresh herbs and just 30 minutes later, cook you’ve got the perfect appetizer or snack for brunch and parties. Serve with our Jezebel Dipping Sauce. De-lish!
Ingredients
1.5 lb ground beef or pork
1 oz Brunch Blend
1 heaping tsp Applewood Smoked Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Cayenne
1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese*
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
1 Tbl chopped fresh herbs (we used chives and basil)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or pork, Brunch blend, Smoked Applewood Salt, Cayenne, Bisquick baking mix and shredded cheese until well combined.
- For into 24 balls – about 2 Tbl each. Place in rows on a baking sheet with parchment. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and the sausage is cooked through.
- Remove and serve hot with Jezebel sauce.
- *Tip: Shred the cheese from a block. Pre-shredded cheese has a fine coating of anti-caking flour, and the sausage bites will come out dry with pre-shredded cheese.

You have an error in the Brunch Sausage Bites. The list of ingredients calls for 1.5 lb beef instead of the sausage that actually goes in it!
Sorry about that! You can use ground beef or pork. We prefer pork and used pork when testing the recipe. Thank you!
The ingredients say to use beef and the directions say to use sausage. Which one is correct?
