1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter | |
8 oz block sharp cheddar cheese, shredded | |
1 tsp Maldon Salt | |
1 1/2 tsp Gochugaru Chile Flakes | |
1/2 tsp Spanish Sweet Paprika | |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1. | Preheat oven to 350°F. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together the butter, cheese, salt, paprika and Gochugaru Chile Flakes. |
2. | Gradually add flour, beating just until combined. |
3. | Use a cookie press with the star attachment or piping bag with a star tip to pipe out the dough into 2 inch ribbons. |
4. | Bake on parchment-lined sheet pans for 12 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom and firm to the touch. Move to wire racks until completely cooled. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week. |
