Brisket in under 2 hours? Yes! Put your Instant Pot to work, and in no time, you’ll have tender, tasty brisket with a delicious, savory jus. Our Brisket Rub packs a nice wallop of flavor and heat. Load it onto buns with our Citrusy Slaw and a dollop of Meaux Betta Dipping Sauce. We love the contrast of flavors and crunch.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Season the brisket on all sides with Brisket Rub. Place the onions on the bottom of the instant pot. Place the brisket on top. You may have to cut the brisket in pieces and shingle them into the pot. Add 2 cups water.
  • Place the lid on the Instant Pot and set to Manual Pressure Cook on high for 1 hour, 15 mins. Allow to naturally release for 15 minutes. Release any remaining pressure and move the brisket to a cutting board.
  • After the brisket has cooled for 15 minutes, cut across the grain into slices. Skim the excess fat from the onion jus in the pot and use as a drizzle for the sandwiches. Serve with the Citrusy Slaw and Meaux Betta Dipping Sauce.
  • If you have the time, refrigerating the brisket overnight makes it easier to slice. This will also create a fat cap on the jus which makes for easy removal.
