Ingredients
4 filets salmon
Salt
Bristol Bay Salmon Blend, Lemon Lime Salmon Rub or Seattle Salmon Blend
1 stick butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 sprig fresh rosemary
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Season the salmon filets lightly on both sides with salt. Season both sides with the salmon seasoning blend.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Drizzle the skillet with Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil just to coat the bottom. Allow the oil to heat to just before smoking. Sear the salmon on one side until golden brown – about 4 minutes. Flip and lower the heat to low.
- Add the butter, garlic and rosemary to the pan and allow the butter to melt. Tip the pan and use a spoon to baste the salmon with the butter. Continue basting until the salmon is cooked to the desired internal temperature. For medium, you’re looking for 130°F with an instant read thermometer.
- Serve the salmon with a lemon wedge and a spoonful of the garlic butter.
