Think you’ve seen every pumpkin trick in the autumnal book? Think again. Nothing basic about this latte. We start by making a sweet pumpkin milk with Pumpkin Pie Spice. Then we pair it with our chilled Pumpkin Spice Tea. The result? A latte like no other. Like, we like it a latte.
1 cup whole milk | |
1/4 cup condensed milk | |
1/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/2 tsp [Pumpkin Pie Spice]
1 cup steeped [Pumpkin Spice Tea] |
1. | First create the Pumpkin Milk: In a small sauce pan, combine the milk, condensed milk, pumpkin puree and Pumpkin Pie Spice. Whisk to combine and bring to a simmer. Turn off the heat and chill the mixture. Store it in a jar in the fridge. You'll have a bit leftover after making this iced latte. |
2. | Next, make the Pumpkin Spice Tea: In a 2 quart container, steep 1 Tbl Pumpkin Spice Tea in 1 cup near boiling water for 4 minutes. Strain off the leaves and add ice to fill the container. Set aside. |
3. | When you're ready to create the latte, fill a tall glass with ice. Add in 50% Pumpkin Milk and 50% chilled Pumpkin Spice Tea. Stir, pop in a straw and enjoy! |
