cucumber salad with vinaigrette


1/3 cup Champagne Pear Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp Honey
2 Tbl Dijon mustard
1/3 cup Basil Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tbl Sunny Herb Blend
1/2 tsp Kosher Flake Salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 large cucumber, sliced
1/2 small red onion, slivered

The perfect crunch meets the perfect vinaigrette in this simple, summery salad. Our Sunny Herb Blend is the perfect mixture to whisk into oil and vinegar. Drizzle it onto a simple bowl of cucumbers and wait for the transformation. So fresh! So delish! We use our Salad Dressing Bottle to make it so easy.


1.In a jar or shaker bottle, combine the Champagne Pear Balsamic Vinegar, honey, dijon mustard, Sunny Herb Blend, salt and pepper. Mix and allow to sit for 10 mins. Allowing the spices to sit in the vinegar helps dissolve the salt and soften the aromatics.
2.Add in the Basil Extra Virgin Olive Oil and shake or whisk. Taste and adjust with additional salt, pepper or Champagne Pear Vinegar.
3.Drizzle the dressing over the sliced cucumbers and onions - just enough to dress them. You may not use all of the dressing. Allow to sit for a few minutes, then taste. Adjust with salt if needed. Store unused dressing in the fridge for up to 10 days.
