I think we can all agree, the movie Elf may be the best Christmas tradition going. Annual Elf movie watch nights. Breakfast Buddy the Elf-style. Elf themed cocktail parties. It all has us singing, WE’RE SINGING, at the top of our lungs. And making cocktails. This nutty sip features our Nutcracker Tea, hazelnut liqueur and a fun graham cracker crunch. This sip makes us smile. Smiling’s our favorite. We think Buddy would approve.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Nutcracker Tea

  • 1 cup whipped cream

  • 1 Tbl powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tsp [Maple Extract]

  • 3 oz Hazelnut Liqueur

  • 2 oz Simple Syrup

  • Finely crushed graham crackers for garnish

Instructions

  • First make the Nutcracker Tea: Steep 1/3 cup Nutcracker Tea in 2 cups very hot, even boiling, water. Herbal teas can withstand the heat of boiling water. They also like a long steep. Steep for 15 mins. Strain off the leaves and set aside to cool.
  • Next, make the whipped cream: Beat together the cream, powdered sugar and Maple Extract until a thick whipped cream forms.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add in 3 oz Hazelnut Liqueur, 2 oz simple syrup and 1/2 cup chilled Nutcracker tea. Shake until the shaker is frosty. Pour into 2 martini glasses. Top with the whipped cream and garnish with graham crackers.
