Sunny Herb Blend is one of the offerings in our Tried & True Vegetable Seasoning lineup. We especially love Sunny Herb Blend for its versatility. It’s great on roasted vegetables, in vinaigrettes and is a great addition to this compound butter. Soften a stick of butter and add in Sunny Herb Blend for a delightful burst of flavor on warm focaccia, corn on the cob or a big juicy steak.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • zest of 1/2 lemon

  • 1 Tbsp Sunny Herb Blend

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Place on a piece of plastic wrap or parchment and roll into a log. Twist ends to seal well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. At this point, you can pop into a ziptop bag and freeze for up to 6 months.
  • Slice into rounds and allow to melt on a steak, just off the grill. A pat of this butter is a great way to dress up corn on the cob. Serve it on a butter board alongside warm focaccia!
