We added just a touch of Fleur de Sel and and a few scrapes of Nutmeg to balance the sweetness and highlight the tart & rich combo of pecans and fruit. Pretty to look at. Even better for nibbling. Bring to a cookie swap or drop off on a neighbor’s doorstep. Dreamy and delicious.
Ingredients
2 cups white chocolate chips
2 Tbl half & half
2 Tbl grated orange zest
1/4 tsp Fleur de Sel
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
A few scrapes Nutmeg
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave white chocolate 30 seconds. Stir, then return to microwave for an additional 30 seconds and stir, microwaving and stirring in increments until the white chocolate is completely smooth and melted.
- Quickly mix in half-and-half, half of the orange zest, salt, vanilla, nutmeg, dried cranberries and half of the chopped pecans.
- Immediately spread white chocolate mixture out to 1/4-1/2-in thickness on parchment paper. Sprinkle remaining pecans and orange zest on top, pressing to adhere. Allow to cool and break into pieces.
