We love Coffee BBQ Rub for beef – especially big, flavorful cuts like flank, hanging tenderloin and ribeyes. Coffee and chiles come together in this big, bold blend making it perfect for steak. Finish them off with our Roasted Garlic Sea Salt for a dynamite flavor combo.
|1.||Rub the ribeyes on both sides with Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Coffee BBQ Rub. Allow to sit at room temp for 20 minutes.|
|2.||These steaks work well on the grill or stovetop in a cast iron pan. For the grill, preheat to 425°F. If you're cooking in cast iron, set over high heat on the stove.|
|3.||Sear the steaks on one side until golden brown - about 4 minutes. Turn the steaks and move to a cooler zone on the grill or lower the heat on the stovetop to medium. Cook until desired internal temperature - about 8 minutes for medium.|
|4.||After cooking, move to a plate and allow the steaks to rest. Sprinkle with a little Garlic Sea Salt just before serving.|
