Our Gingerbread Spice Blend is a warm mixture of ground ginger, cinnamon and a touch of cloves. The coated nuts bake slowly until they are crisp and sweet and spiced just right! Perfect for holiday snacking.
Ingredients
1 lb mixed nuts
1 egg white
2 Tbsp Honey
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp Gingerbread Spice Blend
1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250°F. Line two sheet pans with parchment.
- In a large bowl, whisk the egg white, honey, sugar, Gingerbread Spice Blend and salt until light and frothy. Fold in the nuts and combine until the nuts are completely coated with the egg white mixture.
- Divide the nuts between the two pans, scraping all of the egg white mixture onto the nuts. Spread to an even layer on the pans.
- Bake for 1 hour. Stir and redistrubuting the nuts on the pans every 20 minutes, rotating the pans when you return them to the oven. Allow the nuts to cool then break apart to serve or store. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
