6 cups dried bread cubes
1 lb sweet Italian sausage
1 tsp Kosher Flake Salt
1 onion, chopped
1 rib celery, chopped
1 Granny Smith apple, chopped
1/4 cup roasted, chopped pecans
2 tsp Gobble Gobble Blend
big handful chopped parsley
1 egg
2 cups chicken stock, heated
4 Tbl unsalted butter, melted

Gobble Gobble Blend – the name says it all! It’s a must for Thanksgiving turkey, and a whole lot more. We used it to make this flavorful stuffing that has layers upon layers of texture and goodness. Crunchy celery, bright cranberries and tart apples, not to mention savory sausage – it’s all here! And for some local crunch, we added in Bergeron Pecans. A holiday table must!


1.Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 9X13 baking dish with nonstick spray. Place the dried bread cubes in a bowl large enough to hold all of the ingredients. Set aside.
2.In a skillet set over medium heat, cook the sausage until cooked through with no visible pink - about 10 mins. Scrape the sausage over the bread in the bowl.
3.Don't wipe out the skillet. Saute the onions and celery in the sausage drippings, adding a bit of Rosemary Extra Virgin Olive Oil if needed to keep the vegetables from scorching. Cook until the onions and celery are soft and translucent - about 6 mins.
4.Add in the apple and saute for 4 minutes or until the apples begin to soften. Turn off the heat and add in the cranberries, pecans, Gobble Gobble Blend, salt and parsley. Stir to combine. Scrape into bowl with bread.
5.Stir the contents of the bowl then pour in the heated stock. Gently fold to combine. Whisk the egg and melted butter together. Pour the egg/butter mixture into the bowl. Gently fold to combine.
6.Transfer to prepared dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until the stuffing is golden brown.
