Most morning routines include a little caffeine and a protein-filled breakfast. Right? Who are we kidding. Most mornings are rushed, filled with overdue to-do lists and finally dashing off realizing you’re starving. Prep this smoothie the night before and you’ll sip on a protein-packed, caffeinated breakfast that only requires a straw. This recipe makes a big batch, so you’ll have enough to share with your fam.

1 cup steeped Irish Breakfast Tea, cooled | |
1 banana | |
1 cup milk (we used Almond) | |
1 Tbl protein powder | |
1 tsp Mexican Vanilla | |
Pinch Himalayan Salt | |
2 cups ice |
1. | Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth and creamy. |
2. | A few notes: We used traditional Mexican Vanilla because the alcohol content is lower, making it a better choice for a no-cook dish. Any tea will work in this smoothie. We love the idea of Irish Breakfast because it delivers a sturdy caffeine punch. |
