Caramelized Pineapple Ricotta Toast

Ingredients

1 can pineapple rings
Vanilla Bean Sugar
Vanilla Bean Sea Salt
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup heavy cream
Sourdough bread
Basic Bee Hot Honey

Sweet, caramelized pineapple sits atop creamy whipped ricotta, and it’s all finished off with a drizzle of Basic Bee Hot Honey. Just the perfect snack, morning, noon or night!

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 400°F
2.Lay canned pineapple rings on parchment lined sheet tray. Generously sprinkle with Vanilla Bean Sugar and lightly sprinkle with Vanilla Bean Sea Salt.
3.Bake until the sugar is caramelized. About 10-15 minutes.
4.Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, whip together the ricotta cheese and heavy cream until well combined.
5.For the toast, toast bread in a toaster. Top toast with Ricotta mixture and caramelized pineapples. Drizzle hot honey on the top and enjoy!
