Warm and comforting. Delicious and functional. We love this sipping broth for so many reasons. Genmai Cha green tea with its earthy notes steeps right into vegetable broth with ginger, peppercorns and lemongrass. So much goodness in every sip.
All Natural Avocado Oil | |
1 onion, chopped | |
2 ribs celery, chopped | |
1 carrot, chopped | |
4 cloves garlic, chopped | |
2 Tbl Lemongrass | |
2 tsp Dried Chopped Ginger | |
12 Tellicherry Peppercorns, lightly crushed | |
6 cups water | |
2 Tbl Genmai Cha Green Tea | |
1 Tbl miso paste | |
Salt and pepper |
1. | Heat a dutch oven over medium heat and drizzle in the All Natural Avocado Oil to coat the bottom. Saute the onions, celery and carrot until the onions are translucent. Add in the garlic and bay. Stir to combine. |
2. | Add in the water, Genmai Cha, Lemongrass, Ginger and peppercorns. Bring to a boil. reduce to a simmer and cook for 30 mins. |
3. | Turn off the heat and strain the soup. Return the strained soup to the pot and add the miso. Taste. Adjust with salt and pepper. |
