3/4 cup dark brown sugar
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Fig Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 Tbl Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbl Ground Yellow Mustard Seed
1 tsp Hungarian Paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Smoked Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp hot sauce

This sauce is a mainstay in the Teaching Kitchen at Red Stick Spice. We love it on Pulled Chicken Sandwiches. We serve it alongside Instant Pot Brisket. We’ve even been know to mix up our Sheet Pan Nachos with a bit of that aforementioned Brisket and added a drizzle of this sauce. Our Fig Balsamic Vinegar is the big player here with its sweet-tangy delivery. It works perfectly alongside the brown sugar, ketchup and Worcestershire. Plus, it comes together in about three minutes! Consider us sold!


1.Whisk all ingredients together. Allow to sit for at least 30 mins for the flavors to meld. Store in a jar with a lid in the refrigerator and use within 8 weeks.
