Light, lemony. Use this oil to brighten up an ordinary salad or add some zip to roast chicken. It pairs perfectly with our Fig and Pomegranate Balsamics. Read on for five ways to put your Meyer Lemon Olive Oil to use.
1. Maple Glazed Roast Salmon – We pair up Meyer Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Garlic Maple Blend for this delicious salmon. We love what the Meyer Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil does to bring all the flavors together. We love this salmon on a bed of wilted spinach or kale. It’s lovely with a sweet potato on the side, too!
2. Lemon Garlic Kale Salad. Massaging the greens is the key – yes, give them a massage! As you work the Meyer Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar into the greens, they relax. The process is really fun, and you end up with a scrumptious salad with amazing flavor.
3. Citrus Olive Oil Mini Loaves– These perfectly-sized cakes (cake-lettes? is that allowed?) are simply packed with citrus from beginning to end. We pair up our Meyer Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil along with our Blood Orange Avocado Oil. Plus, we tag team our extracts – Vanilla + Orange + Lemon – to create these little citrus treats that have a sugar crunch on the bottom and sublime glaze on top.
4. Avocado Toast – Sometimes the simplest ingredients make the most memorable dishes. This sandwich is no exception. Ripe avocado, Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Fleur de Sel, black pepper and whole grain bread. It doesn’t get much more simple. Or delicious.
5. Chickpea Salad Pitas. Packed with protein and perfectly portable. These Greek Chickpea Salad Pitas are lunchbox ready. Desk lunches, picnics or car rides, these pitas are an excellent way to ward off the sandwich blues.
