These sliders are little burgers that are big on flavor. Use slider buns, or grab those sweet Hawaiian dinner rolls – our favorite! Creole Cowboy Blend is a smoky-spicy, all-purpose BBQ blend that has nice heat from Chipotles. It’s fantastic in ground beef for burgers or meatloaf. We plattered up these sliders and served with a dipping sauce of melted butter and Jay D’s Barbecue Sauce – YUM! Serve these as a fun appetizer at an outdoor party.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Heat a grill to medium-high.
  • Combine the ground chuck, Creole Cowboy Blend, and Arbequina Olive Oil. Mix gently trying not to overwork the meat. Form into 12 small patties.
  • Grill until cooked to desired doneness–3-5 minutes for medium-well. Just before removing from the grill, place the cheese on the patties.
  • Combine the Jay D’s Louisiana Barbecue Sauce with the melted butter. Serve the sliders with the BBQ Sauce and butter combination as a dipping sauce.
