Let’s taco bout tacos. Some say they’re the world’s perfect food. We say we love them for all their possibilities. From meatless wonders to chicken stuffed masterpieces, tacos offer endless customizations and creativity. Read on for seven inspiring taco recipes.

Baja Fish Tacos with lime

1- Baja Fish Tacos

We looked to our Baja Fish Taco Blend to deliver big flavor to these fish tacos. We like to use firm, white cod and then load up the tortillas with a crunchy cabbage, a spicy sauce and our favorite: pickled onions or radishes. This meal comes together quickly and is a great feed-a-crowd solution.

2- Sheet Pan Carrot Tacos

Sheet Pan Suppers. Oh, how we love them. So much so that we talk about them in our Smidgen podcast. You’re subscribed, right? What are you waiting for? Listen on Apple podcasts, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts. Back to the sheet pans…we love this recipe for all its possibilities. Load it up with carrots, season it with Taco Tuesday Blend, and supper will be ready in no time. Serve on tortillas with our Restaurant Style Big Batch Salsa and Creamy Cilantro Sauce. Dynamite!

3- Pasilla Pulled Chicken Tacos

Often confused with Poblano Chiles, the dried Pasilla Negro Chile is worth the research. Pasilla means “little raisin” and is the dried form of the Chilaca Chile. It has a touch of gentle heat, measuring in at under 2,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). We love what these chiles do in this recipe. We pair up the smoky, deep red sweetness of the Chile with our Mango Balsamic. The result is a sublime taco filling that will seal Taco Tuesday (or any day) as the best day ever! What’s a Scoville Heat Unit? Read all about the spicy deets in our blog.

4- Tiny Tacos

This fast food favorite took us from “this is silly” to “this is genius” with one crispy, crunchy bite. These little stuffed tortilla rounds can be piled up and topped like a platter of nachos or lined up alongside a topping buffet. Be sure to hop on the accoutrement early in the day. We tucked our Restaurant Style SalsaCreamy Cilantro Sauce and Quick Pickled Red Onions in the fridge to serve with these teeny wonders. Big fun and so delicous!

5- Lime Habanero Shrimp Tacos

Clean eating never had it so good. Our Habanero Extra Virgin Olive Oil packs a fun kick that plays nicely alongside the Cilantro Lime Pepper. For the lettuce, romaine, butter or iceberg work well. These simple lettuce wraps are a nice addition to your taco Tuesday. Or Wednesday. Or any day.

6- Orange Guajillo Pulled Chicken Tacos

We love these slow braised chicken tacos spiced with Guajillo Chiles and our delicious Baja Fish Taco Blend. Top with our favorite Quick-Pickled Red Onions, Cotija or Feta, thinly sliced radish, and cilantro. A favorite in our Teaching Kitchen from our Taco Tuesday Cooking Class.

7- Breakfast Tacos

When it comes to taco recipes, it’s all about getting the components, the fillings, the sauces – getting those ducks in a row. Then scramble eggs, sizzle the meat, fill the tortilla, and it’s mealtime!
